Palm Desert, CA – (July 16, 2012) The Association of Fundraising Professionals has announced they have extended the deadline for National Philanthropy Day nominations until Friday, July 20 and can be submitted online.
The 6th Annual National Philanthropy Day is set to take place on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage.

Nominations in the following categories are being sought by Coachella Valley nonprofit entities, community organizations, and local businesses:

Established in 1960, AFP is an international association of 223 chapters which work to educate fundraisers and promote philanthropy.
