The Sun Runner Magazine’s 2008 Desert Writers Issue received more than 85 submissions of short stories, essays, and poems from 42 writers and poets living and
working throughout the desert regions of Southern California. While we could only publish the top 20 submissions in our print edition of the magazine, selections from all the writers’ works are featured
