Nolina Peak Gate |

Nolina Peak, a one-square mile of privately held land bordering Joshua Tree National Park, has recently been purchased for donation to the park, by the Mojave Desert Land
Trust. One of the challenges has been preventing off-roaders from destroying gates and riding in prohibited areas, as this photo shows. This was one of several destroyed gates at the site. |
