Open Cockpit Saturday
with the P-51 Mustang!


On Saturday, Jun 22, 2013 from 1 - 3 PM the Palm Springs Air Museum will hold its 2nd OPEN COCKPIT SATURDAY. This Saturday, the Air Museum’s P-51 Mustang, Bunny, painted in Tuskegee Red Tail colors, will be open for visitors to sit at the controls and pose for pictures. In addition, the Buddy Rogers Theatre will play documentaries featuring the P-51 Mustang. Museum volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions and provide the historical back drop for the aircraft you’re sitting in. Guests are strongly cautioned to dress appropriately for climbing into the planes and are reminded to bring a camera. Open cockpit is included with paid museum admission. The Palm Springs Air Museum reserves the right to refuse access to anyone deemed to be a hazard to themselves, other guests and / or the aircraft. The Palm Springs Air Museum is located at 745 N. Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs, CA.

Open Cockpit Saturday is included with regular admission to the museum which ranges from $8 to $15. Active Military and children 5 and under are free. (760) 778-6262.
