“Hot Flashes With Divas Divine” will be presented on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Arthur Newman Theater in a cabaret style concert at a 2 PM matinee performance at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. The show, starring Deborah Wheeler-Ure and Joanne Lapointe, will look back at their lives - and most women's lives, with an eclectic range of song styles that punctuate and span the years of a woman's discover of life and the changes they bring, and promises many cheers and tears.

Joanne Lapointe, whose been described as ‘Beverly Sills meets Bette Milder’, has appeared in dozens of musical theater productions and kiddingly admits to playing the role of Evita’s Mother in four different productions. The equally talented Deborah Wheeler-Ure, both performed and directed many theater productions before settling into cabaret and as a motivational singer. Their previous Divas Divine shows including “From Pop To Op” and “In Love”, have played several venues including Lyon’s English Grill to great reviews.

“Hot Flashes” accompanied by Musical Director Rob Woyshner on piano, will be presented at 2 PM on August 4, 2013 as part of Les Michaels’ Sundays In Summer Series at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center, 73750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert.
