Norman Lasiter in "Both Sides Now"
Local favorite brings a cabaret show to Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert

Local favorite, Norman Lasiter will perform his show “Both Sides Now” at the Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 2 PM. Mr. Lasiter, who is originally

from a small town in Indiana, moved to New York City where he met his musical director, noted arranger and pianist, Christopher Marlowe. Together they honed some of their favorite songs as well as rekindling some recorded by Nancy Lamott, with whom Mr. Marlowe worked up until her passing in 1995. The results are two CD’s: “Trust The Wind” and “The Gift Of Love”. The August 25th show will incorporate songs from these CD’s and from several of Norman’s previous shows as well as a few new ones, along with patter and stories about himself, the songs, and life in general
