The Desert Classic Film Society PRESENTS AN EVENING WITH LAUREL & HARDY in Yucca Valley

On Friday, September 6 at 8pm the Bijou Cinema presents an entire evening devoted to the comic genius of Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy. Vintage film prints of some of their silent films such as BACON GRABBERS and LEAVE EM' LAUGHING will be screened. Plus their sound shorts COUNTY HOSPITAL and HOG WILD Also on the bill, rare color home movie footage of Laurel & Hardy at home in the 1950's.

Film historian Christopher Perry will introduce the films.

The Bijou opens at 7:30pm.

WANT FREE ADMISSION??? Bring a cinema related book to the Bijou and donate it to the Bijou reference library and you will get in free. Note: It has to be a book that the reference library currently does not have.

WANT ADMISSION FOR 25 CENTS??? Since movie tickets in the 1930's and 40's could be bought for 25 cents we will give you admission for 25 cents in change if the coins are silver(that means dated before 1965).

The Bijou Cinema is located at 57482 Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley. Admission is $5 per person.
