On Saturday, November 2nd at 8pm, Harrison House Music & Arts is pleased to present artist-in-residence and award winning composer/bass clarinet virtuoso Evan Ziporyn in a solo performance of bass clarinet & electronics, including works by himself, Christine Southworth and Lennie Tristano.

Ziporyn is known for making music at the crossroads between genres and cultures and his compositions have included pieces for the Silk Road Ensemble, The American Composers Orchestra, Wu Man and Bang on a Can All-Stars (of which he was a founding member). He is also the founder of Gamelan Galak Tika, a member of the Eviyan Trio and Director of MIT's new Center for Art, Science and Technology.
