The Desert Classic Film Society presents the film Noir Classic THE STRANGE LOVE OF MARTHA IVERS on Friday, November 8 at 7pm at the Bijou Cinema in Yucca Valley.

This A production features fine acting by Barbara Stanwyck, Van Heflin, and a very young Kirk Douglas in one of his first acting roles. Former National Public Radio Film Critic Randy Fischer describes this flick as "Romance Noir". Lizabeth Scott never looked so sultry in her role of the dame who came from the "School of Hard Knocks."

Former film critic for National Public Radio, Randy Fischer will introduce the film.

A vintage film print will be screened.

WANT FREE ADMISSION??? Bring a cinema related book to the Bijou and donate it to the Bijou reference library and you will get in free. Note: It has to be a book that the reference library currently does not have.

WANT ADMISSION FOR 25 CENTS??? Since movie tickets in the 1930's and 40's could be bought for 25 cents we will give you admission for 25 cents in change if the coins are silver(that means dated before 1965).

The Bijou Cinema is located at 57482 Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley. Admission is $5.00 per person.
