Wild West Family Fun Day!

Join us for a day of rootin’ tootin’ wild west fun! Bring the whole family for a day filled with engaging activities including western-themed hands-on crafts and face painting. Western clothing and cowboy costumes are encouraged.

• Learn about the California Gold Rush and pan for gold with the First Class Miners

• See an old-fashioned wild west shootout by the Gunfighters for Hire, 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.

• Country music by the Ghostlight Trio, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

• Bounce House provided by Kid Ready Bouncers

This event is FREE and will keep the whole family delighted for hours!

For more than 45 years the Hi-Desert Nature Museum has been dedicated to the process of education by exploring the natural, artistic and cultural heritage of the Morongo Basin and High Desert. The Museum seeks to inspire wonder, discovery, understanding, and responsibility in its community and visitors through exhibits, programs, and collections in the arts, history, and natural sciences. The Hi-Desert Nature Museum is located in the Yucca Valley Community Center Complex at 57116 Twentynine Palms Highway. The Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Admission is free; donations support the educational mission of the Museum.
