Journey with The Sun Runner as we search for the elusive headwaters of the wild Mara River, Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Sun Runner Magazine's annual Desert Writers Celebration will feature a special Desert Treasures presentation to author Robin Maxwell, commemorating the publishing of her latest novel, JANE: The Woman Who Loved Tarzan during the Tarzan Centennial. Desert writers and poets are welcome to read from their work, and to sign and sell their books (please notify us before the event).
There will be African dance, a Tarzan yell contest, music, food, and adventure! Safari attire is encouraged.
