Over 20 Morongo Basin homes will showcase drought-tolerant landscapes on the 4th Annual Desert-Wise Landscape Tour on April 26, 2014. Register today for this popular self-guided garden tour featuring beautiful low water and native-plant home landscapes throughout the High Desert communities - Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms. Learn about water conservation in the desert garden while you experience an amazing variety of plants and creative landscape designs. The tour features beautiful settings and a wide range of elevations and micro-climates. You will be sure to find ideas you can use in your own home garden. Sponsored by the Morongo Basin Conservation Association.
The tour cost is a $10 donation per person, with a $5 discount for MBCA members and those who sign up for membership along with the Tour. Advance registration is required. You can register for the tour at www.mbconservation.org or in person at locations to be announced in April. The Official Tour Guidebook and Map will be available to registrants online starting 4/14/2014.
