Les Dames du Soleil in their “Last Dance World Farewell Tour”
a benefit for Desert AIDS Project

They may call themselves “a troupe of comic entertainers” but Desert AIDS Project has called Les Dames du Soleil “a treasure” for many years. This talented group, created by the inimitable Dottie DuBois and the unmistakable Maude Chapeau – aka Marshall Pearcy and Douglas Woodmansee – has been delighting … horrifying … and occasionally scandalizing Palm Springs audiences for the past 18 years.

And, oh yes … raising more than $1 million for AIDS medical care and social services while bringing their special brand of crazy fun to us all!

When Les Dames du Soleil bring their “Last Dance World Farewell Tour” to the Renaissance Hotel Palm Springs on Sunday, October 21 it’s sure to be a packed house because this year Wells Fargo Foundation is matching funds raised by Les Dames du Soleil dollar-for-dollar!!

That means ticket purchases and other contributions made at the show will be worth double … all the way up to $100,000! So, come out and show your love of those Dames that Palm Springs has honored on its Walk of Stars – and help them guarantee that $100,000 match from Wells Fargo Foundation, all for client services at Desert AIDS Project.

If you can’t be at the show but would still like to show your love of Les Dames du Soleil as they hoof it across that stage one last time for the clients of Desert AIDS Project, please visit

“Last Dance” World Farewell Tour is proudly sponsored by Maximum Security and the Palm Springs Renaissance Hotel. This show is sure to be “Double the FUN! Double the SUM!”
