The 2nd Colorado Desert Cultural Heritage Symposium is a three-day event dedicated to the cultural history of our region. On Saturday, a program of accomplished speakers on various cultural subjects will include history, ethnography, prehistory, and archaeology of the region. On Sunday morning, view art and music presentations or join us for select field tours into the Park. We hope you'll join us!

- Bird Singing Performance by Alonso Pesado, a Cucapa bird singer, with interpretation by Michael Wilken

- Traditional Basket-Making Demonstration by a Kumeyaay artisan

- Traditional Pottery-Making Demostration by a Paipai potter
