Description:
This volunteer work project involves catching a ride on a National Park Service motor boat just outside of Moab, UT for a breathtaking ride down the Colorado River to its confluence with the equally imposing Green River. We'll set up a base camp at the confluence and work on removing invasive tamarisk shrubs from the narrow ground between the river and towering redrock cliffs all around you. Candidates must apply and abide by guidelines.
