The Cultural Resources Branch at Joshua Tree National Park oversees all historic preservation activities within the park’s boundaries.

Learn about recent Joshua Tree NP historic preservation projects in 2016, the Centennial year of the National Park Service. Theuer will discuss how to balance heritage preservation and resources for future generations to enjoy in the next 100 years.

There will be a Q & A after the lecture.

Join the Morongo Basin Historical Society’s 2nd Wednesday Lecture Series which is held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum Yucca Valley 57116 29 Palms Hwy. Lecture begins at 5:30. Donation is $5.00.
