Gang War
presented by the Desert Classic Film Society

The DESERT CLASSIC FILM SOCIETY will be presenting the Film Noir Rarity GANG WAR 1958 on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. at the Bijou Cinema in Yucca Valley.

A Los Angeles high-school teacher's problems begin when he happens to witness a gangland killing and agrees to identify the murderers. Not realizing this will cause the underworld to retaliate "big time". Rare film noir stars a young Charles Bronson and some cool shots of Hollywood circa the Capitol Records building on Vine Street.

Mini-Lecture before the films will be presented by National Public Radio Film Critic Randy Fischer.

Monthly film presentations will feature film genres such as Film Noir, Classic Comedy, Classic Animation, Science Fiction, Silent Film, Screwball Comedies, dramas and more.
